It should be apparent to most who are following the News, we are living in tumultuous times. There is so much chaos and confusion going on around us every day, with no end for the foreseeable future.
With this in mind, it is of utmost importance we make prayer a daily discipline and habit. We cannot survive or thrive in this present world without the help of the Lord. Our wisdom falls short for what’s needed during these unprecedented times and circumstances.
As end-time prophetic scriptures are being fulfilled, and the world becomes more chaotic and darker, we must continually seek the Father for His direction, inspiration, knowledge, wisdom, discernment, strength, protection, and provision.
We are not smart enough or strong enough to navigate through the turbulent waters ahead. We must follow Jesus’ example and pray to the Father daily, consistently, and fervently (Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 6:12, 22:45; Hebrews 5:7)
The apostle Paul admonished the church at Ephesus to take on the armor of God and to pray at all times (Ephesians 6:10-20). Prayer is not a luxury…it is a necessity!
Are you going through difficult times right now? Pray. Do you need direction and wisdom? Pray. Do you need strength for today? Pray. Have you become weary in well-doing? Pray. Does life seem like a drudge? Pray. Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those around you for Christ? Pray. Do you want a closer fellowship with the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ? Pray. Do you want to grow in grace? Pray. Do you want to fulfill all the Father has for you to accomplish on the earth? Pray.
If you answered yes to any of the above, consider making prayer a vital part of your walk with God. He has committed Himself to respond to our prayers that are offered in faith, and He is waiting to hear from you (Psalm 34:15).
A new subject next time. Until then, may God our Heavenly Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ, richly bless and keep you.
